Double national GRAMMY award winner SILENT STREAM OF GODLESS ELEGY have been pioneering their own way of folkish doom/death metal since their founding in 1995.

They emerged from Moravia, the eastern part of the Czech Republic, where ancient Slavic melancholy inspires a unique combination of traditional Moravian folk music and doom/death metal.

With eight studio albums and hundreds of concerts throughout Europe, the band belongs among the pioneers of what is now known worldwide as Folk Metal.
